To be totally honest, I haven't tried CD-R on my particular X-Box, since I'm
perfectly happy with running things from the network or FTP-ing it to my
120GB drive in the X-Box. But CD-R worked fine on a friends X-Box modded in
the same way with a not-so-official game. I've heard that the drives differs
a lot, especially between 1.0 and 1.1 but even within versions.
