Re: New Comfort has arrived - no paperwork/manuals? now Wiring help required!

Phil from Lets Automate has got in touch with me and manuals should
have been included. He is sending them to me today!

I'll be ready to start installation at the weekend....

Can anyone give me some advice on neatly wiring comfort? I have used
8 core screened cables throughout the installation and there will be
16 zone cables entering the case.

Should the outer protective sheath on the cable be stripped back to
where the cables enter the top of the Comfort case?

For some of the cables I will only be using 4 of the 8 cores, how
should I manage the spare 4 cores within the CPU units so that they
can be connected at a later time?

What about cablel labelling? - I have used the infamous colour coded
insualtion tape system on the outer protective sheath of each cable -
but this could be a bit awkward if the outer protective sheath is
removed.

Thanks for any advice!

Tom
