To all the resondees thank you, more liquid seems to be best bet!.  On= ce
I can prise it open safely I'll give it a wash out the dry.  Currently= I
can only get one end free and dont want to force it incase I break the
case. Ther emust be a hidden connection or screw at the narrow end.

Insurance idea is a good one, but the company want an qritten assessment to say its dead from a dealer or the like, we have to pay first =A350 and lose 5% NCB so that route is in balance at present.

Final question ... back to the TM13 question... anybody use MS13s or any radio freq items with X10.  If so what receiver do you use ... I think=
the BX24 (BX26) is out of my price range.
