The other well-known gotcha with power showers (and particularly
where the head is low) is that the pump can suck water faster than
the gravity feed from the cold tank into the hot tank can provide, so
you end up sucking air back through the overflow.
The fix for his is to have the hot water feed to the pump come from a
lower point on the hot tank. This means either a takeoff
"thing" put
into the side of your tank, or a "thing" [dont know what that is
called either :-)] that goes in te top of the tank, where the
ordinary hot water comes out. This thing is a dual concentric
pipe,with the inner takeoff protruding down six inches or so, which
gives the same efect as an extra takeoff in the side.
