Pet Immune PIR detectors - advice needed!

Hi guys

The Comfort system is on order and i'm very excited to get it
installed and utilise all the features!

I would like to get PIR detectors that are compatible with a
small/medium size dog. Ideally so that we can go out, set the alarm
and leave the dog to roam the house.

Is this possible with current technology? I'm looking at the Texecom
3D-Petwise Holographic Pet Immune Pir. The literature claims the PIR
differentiates between animals and humans by looking at the shape of
the detected object.

If you have any experience with these PIRs or can recommend an
alternative product I will be very grateful!

Thanks

Tom

ps. another good feature of the Texecom PIR is that you can mount it
less than 2m high (range is 1.5m-3.1m) and it comes with ceiling and
wall brackets....
