RE: HA status by sms or wap mobile

Stephen,

I use vizzavi for sms notification, they provide a service whereby they send
the subject line of any email sent to the account.

I use homeseer to send e-mail to Vizzavi which then sends me the text, the
whole thing takes less than a minute normally.

You can also download wapseer which allows you to integrate / operate your
home using wap and homeseer. I also have this but find wap quite non user
friendly.

Hello,

What software do you recommend to send sms messages to, say, report on
the status of your home? Do you have to pay someone to provide an
email to sms gateway?

I haven't got a wap-enabled phone yet, but I guess I will have to get
one soon so that I can send instructions home as well as receive
status messages! What hand set do you recommend and again, what
software for building the wap interface?

Thanks,
Stephen.
