Cool!  I just got my DVD player from http://www.merconnet.com to replace the
one that died.  It's fantastic.  Runs from 12v or mains.  You can take it to
a friend's house to plug into their TV.  The best bit is you can navigate
any CD you put in there, and it'll play any MP3s, JPEGs, MPEGs it finds.  I
can chuck all my holiday photos and MPEG2 videos in a directory on the CD
and chuck it into the player.  It'll play them in alphabetical, random or
programmed order.  It shows the photos for 3 seconds, and plays the MPEGs.
Superb!  Pity you have to order it from merconnet.
