There ALWAYS has to be a downside to a bargain doesnt there :-(

This morning I couldnt turn the immersion heater on using my remote control.
Looking at the HomeVision log a few moments ago, the only commands it had
seen today were from the mini timer in Ambers room.

Trying to figure out what had changed I remembered the DVD player. Went into
Ambers room and switched it OFF on the front panel as it was on standby. Hey
Presto... Can now control the Hot Water from my remote and HV now sees all
the remote commands we send to the lamps in the lounge.

Ironically, the notoriously unreliable X10 signal from the MiniTimer are
getting through even when the DVD player is on and they are plugged into the
same plugboard.

So, the biggest problem discovered so far with the Naiko 2001B is that it is
an X10 killer :-(
