Nik, the product o2 uses, oscommerce, doesn't need any coding knowledge to get
your site up and running - provided you just want a shopping cart site.
It does require a tiny bit of work to add on a payment module, though you may
be able to persuade Chris to do this for you as a one off.

You should have a look at the www.oscommerce.com site - you can get into the
admin section to see just how easy it is to maintain it, and it looks alright
out of the box.....
