Have you got a UK source for Video Essentials?
(Assuming that that IS the Joe Kane thing)

I'm sure you're right that they are pretty close BUT what he's told you

sn't mean calibrated (it never ceases to amaze me how little these guys

w). It takes no more than five minutes with Video Essentials to calibrate

plasma, and I can actually give you the settings which certainly for the v=
ersion 3 and 4 Panasonics will be very close in most situations, I haven't

tried it on the 5 series panels but according to Panasonic UK they should

e the same.
Under the "normal" setting
Contrast -6
Brightness 1
Colour 2
Tint 0
Sharpness -2
That is with an Arcam DV-88 player with the black level setting at 0 IRE
(p=
ass pluge on for calibration purposes).
