...just trying to work out a payment method that keep SWMBO happy. I'd
narrowed it down the the Panny and the Pioneer, and having seem them side

side, have plumped for the latter.  

I struggled to separate them in terms of quality, but if I had to, I'd

that the Panny still had a slightly darker (in a good way) picture, but

Pioneer still had pretty good blacks whilst maintaining the brightness,

the resolution is higher, which having plugged my laptop into both, did

an obvious difference.  The fact that the Pioneer comes with the

on-board amp (I don't want to turn the AV amp every time SWMBO wants to
watch Corry) just about edged it for me, but both screens were really

good, way ahead of the Sony's, and even further ahead of the
LG's/Samsungs<=

etc.  You really do still get what you pay for when it comes to

's.

Just trying to get a deal on price now.  Richer are almost the
cheapes=

=A34099, but Unbeatable has just reduced to =A34089, which means RS will

ve to
do a price match less =A3100, so =A33989 ;-).  A local (Sevenoaks

Vision) has agreed, reluctantly, to match the RS price, but cannot offer

kind of warranty.  RS will do theirs for =A3250 - Empire and
Unbeatabl=

=A3750 for almost identical cover!
