RE: I have seen the light.

I might be late with this, I am trying to catch up.....

When I got my TiVo I found/was given, a CCF file for the Pronto which speeds up selecting Artists instead of having to select every individual letter for names to add to wish lists.

With TiVo you have to tab up/down/left/right to select the letters but this CCF file changed screen and made it very quick. This was very cleverly done and I use it all the time BUT I can not remember who created it, very rude of me it is fantastic.

maybe someone else can inform the new users as it is well worth getting hold off.

B.
Also a very satisfied TiVo user.

You can say that again Mark.

I'm gobsmacked at the quality of the video, even on the medium setting.

Here's the thing.... I am now left wondering why NTL and Telewest even
bother with an EPG. After seeing how much better the Sky EPG was than NTL's
I am now amazed again at just how much more useful the Tivo EPG is than any
that I have seen..

I can't remember any of you guys talking about things like the wishlists..

I am a fan of Amanda Tapping (the lovely Major Carster from Stargate SG1),
so I now have a wishlist for her set up, so that Tivo will auto-record
anything that she is in. Similarly, Jen really likes Sam Raimi's direction,
so we have a wishlist for this too...

The database of actors, directors etc is as good as the imdb!!

I.
