Maybe it's just me without the problems!

Who cares which is better?  I have a Tivo, and cable TV because it was
cheaper.  You have Sky+ because you already had Sky.  The point is, they are
both better than nothing.  I wouldn't know which to go for if I had Sky.

It's a tricky one to explain to people without demontrating it.
