LMAO

I do seem to remember a comment along the lines of "TiVo is the greatest
AV invention ever...period"

I stand by it!

It is the only AV device I can honestly say that I could not in any way
live without and it totally changed my outlook and habits for watching
TV, very much for the better. The problem with TiVo is that you can't
really quantify it well to someone that hasn't used it, it is nigh on
impossible IMHO to describe accurately what it does for you and you're
viewing of TV.

PITW, I cannot remember, other than the odd news program (and even that
I cache in TiVo), the last time I actually watched live TV, TiVo deals
with that and, if it isn't in "Now Showing" I don't see it.

It is easy, intuitive and can be used by an untrained monkey, hell even
my mother loves it and she's a confirmed technophobe, but the best bit
of all is it is a true "fit it and forget it" device. Unless of course
you arse about with it before someone starts slagging me off again ;)

K.
