SWMBO went to the local DIY shed and bought me a big chisel with a nice
rubberised plastic handle that has a nice big thumb protector ! I'm not too
good with pain, so I think it was more for her sanity rather than my thumb
:-)

PS If you're making a lot of holes in walls, go and get an SDS drill with
rotary stop and a chisel, it'll save you hours (and thumbs !)
