Hi,

Im a novice when it comes to alarms and PIRs. Does anyone have any recommen= dations for PIRs used solely for an alarm? Im looking at installing a Comfo= rt system however their PIRs are about =A329 + VAT which seems a little ste= ep to me.

Note that I dont need any pet friendly ones.

What are the options? Ie what are pulse counts and should I be wiring 'norm= ally closed' or 'normally open'?

At the moment Im just wiring the 6-core alarm cable to where the PIRs are g= oing to go. I wont be purchasing the PIRs themselves until I install the Co= mfort system....

Any help much appreciated.....

Thanks
Claude
