Nope. Speaker cable for speakers. Cat5 for the home network
that will
fire digital music from my server in the office. I've been putting
it
anywhere I am putting other wires, just in case. For example,
I've
brought 6 lights down to a switch point, so I can control them all from
one point, but I also bunged in some cat5, so I'll be able to control
them remotely in the future.
But it's an interesting idea. What else can you stuff down cat5
apart
>from
bits of wire. Could you use cat5 instead of a coax TV or radio
wire,
for instance?
Jake.

You're not planning to use cat5 for speaker level audio are you? as
this
is generally considered a "Bad Thing(tm)". Something to do with
the
current in the cable being too high for the ratings of cat5 ... ?
Hopefully someone will clear this up.
