Hello all, just joined the group. As well as trying to
rebuild my house at the moment (with as many gadgets
as I can of course:-) I've just launched a new
business. I'm pretty busy at the moment as you'd guess
so I'll probably just skulk around in the background
for a while popping up occasionally with the odd
question or gem of knowledge. I intend to get as much
automation in my house as I can afford in addition to
my current bits and bobs. I have cat5 net, mp3 server
with ir control and wall mounted tfts, wstv with dolby
5.1, sff pc based digital tv system with mpeg2
recording to hd or cd.
Some funky new kit for the kitchen just arrived so
thats the next job on the list made all together more
difficult by the fact that three of us are currently
operating an office from my kitchen table (now home to
it's very own computer network) thank god for cable
ties and gaffer tape ehh?

Any how.... I'll be around

Regards

Rob
