OT: Backing up CDs/CloneCD
Sorry for the OT post.
After recently losing a bunch of original disks to damage, I decided to
backup the important ones such as Windows so I can use them and leave
the original intact in a "secure" environment.
A friend at work suggested CloneCD and gave me a copy to play with. It
happily grabs the CD to an image and I can mount and use it in the
"Virtual drive" OK so the copy seems fine.
However, when I write the new CDROM, I just end up with a coaster
(although Windows 2K occasionally thinks it is an Audio CD!). I have a
copy of the trial of Nero which has a copy option but refuses to copy
the disks as they are copyright!
Anyone here use Clone CD that might have an idea or know how to make
Nero just copy a disk regardless?
Thanks,
Mark.
