Laser Business Systems and the manufacturers of the Extreamer, Barix, have
just launched a superb competition with some great prizes...

"The objective of the competition is to develop a standalone software
application or part of a wider system system to enhance the functionality
and flexibility of the Exstreamer MP3 Player.

The competition will be divided into two parts. The first part is the
submission of ideas for a software application for the Exstreamer. The
judges will select up to 10 ideas from the entries for the supply of loan
Exstreamer units to continue with the second part of the competition. The
second part is the actual development of the software application. There are
three prizes available with the top prize a fabulous weekend for two in
Switzerland!"...

Closing date for the first part is 24 February 2003 so please sharpen your
programming tools and enter without delay!
Full details of the competition objective and rules are available in the
Exstreamer Programming Competition document (PDF, 172KB).
