Not sure exactly what units people are looking at, 
However I do have pricing for some modules listed in Farnell, direct from
the manufacturer.

To put things into context, a graphical VFD of 254  x 32 pixels or 40
x 4 
characthers is the same price as the same price 2 x 40 charachter module
listed in Farnell, the graphic module is also serial driven (RS232 at TTL)

If there is enough interest I'd probably be able to organise a bulk buy
which could reduce costings, this may be either direct from the supplier,
or from Farnell depending on the VFD If this is of interest to you please
e-mail me OFFLIST with details of the VFD you were considering.
