Corrector that I'd be able to borrow for a short period, would there?

I'm doing a bucket load of VHS -> DVD capturing via a PC, and most 
things are absolutely fine, just some of them, which play fine when 
viewed on the TV, end up with some jitters over the top 1/6th of the 
picture while capturing, and I'm pretty sure that a TBC is pretty much 
my only option for this.

Any offers, or pointers to alternates welcomed, before I have to splash
out around 300 quid on something which I'm only going to use for a short
time..... :S
