Do you have LCD or VFD Displays?

I've been thinking about getting a couple of these - 4 line character
or
biggish graphical matrix version.



Who uses these? Now neatly can they be wall mounted (can you get decent
looking bevels)? How easy is it to drive from software etc etc etc.



Also, anyone use one with the likes of ACE and HomeVision?



I think I'd want to display MP3 info, Alarm status, No of telephone
messages waiting, Temperature etc. One with buttons might be nice but a
single button just to page through the info would be acceptable.



What are your thoughts?
