Can someone check a simple circuit diagram for me please?

Frank McAlinden has been kindly helping me with a simple circuit to
allow an IR signal to be 'patched' into my multi zone amp. It uses an
opto coupler, transistor and couple of resistors. He suggested running
it by someone else. If anyone can help, I'll send the PDF file to you.
