Re: xBox - Get one NOW!



I just re-read my post and thought I bet someone picks me up on that...

I bought my turbonet card before the ukha BB.  This was a slightly earlier
version of the card that had a capacitor on it that was way too close to
the
tolerance levels.  If I recall, it implemented a bootup delay so the card
started a few milliseconds after the tivo did so that the tivo hardware
recognised it.  9th tee had documented this effect and sent me two smd
capacitors at their cost so that I could solder one piggy back onto the one
on the card.  That was a pig to do...  And why did they send two? It was
because you dropped and lost one the instant you opened the packaging......
