Ah yes that should make the job a little easier. Frank should be
able
to elaborate on what the HV IR output circuit looks like. I think
that
the answer is not what value does the resistor need to be but what
interface circuit do you need since I wouldn't expect HV to be
outputting 15V (although I could be wrong).
Frank - can I dob you in for some information on HV IR output drive
circuit?
