Re: Re: Roombas cheap on letsautomate

Pedro,

iRobot are a small American company. They are not a huge multinational with=
hundreds of millions of Euros to spend on mass-production.

They are outsourcing their production to China, and are in the position tha= t
production can't keep up with demand in their home market. If they have
supply issues in their home market, then the last thing they're going to do=
is to try to enter a separate, more complex and fragmented market.

The UK resellers, LA (LetsAutomate), Roomba.de, and us are all buying
through US Resellers, because iRobot aren't prepared to talk to anyone
directly. For the record, Roomba.de is a purely independant company, who have already got in trouble for using the name "Roomba" without p= ermission.

Regards,

Mark
