Mick,

I use the BT Diverse 4000 series phones (Siemens) they work great with
ingoing/outgoing calls and pick up numbers dialed ect. However, I'm also
using Comfort which causes problems if the Meteor is placed after
Comfort in which case it doesn't work at all. Placed before it, it's OK.

Paul.

Hi all

my Meteor is working fine for recording details of outgoing calls on all
my
wired phones but doesnt seem to pick up anything when I use my vtech
dect
phone.

Well thats not quite true, my wife tried to make a call on the dect
while I
was online this morning and bingo the Meteor shows off hook and then the
number dialled. Weird!

Couple of extra bits of information, I am in Ireland where they dont use
ring capacitors, I have used an english phone with an english/irish
converter which works fine and an irsh phone which works fine it is only
the
dect phone through the converter which gives a problem.

Tony over on the xPL list has told me he has one dect phone which works
and
one which doesn't.

So can anyone cast any light on why dect is a problem and why it picks
up
the info from dect when I am online (which obviously isn't much use!).

Also could people please post which makes/models of dect actually work
with
the meteor for outgoing calls.

Cheers
Mick
