Anyone got Silent Gliss Curtain tracks?

I ordered one recently and had a number of problems:

*      It turned up without any fixing brackets or instructions
*      There was a small plastic part (like a cover) holding the tensioned
band (that moves within the track) together and this was broken
*      After a few phone calls to Silent Gliss direct - they collected it
and promised to return it with the missing fixings and instructions.
*      Fixed rail turned up (reasonably promptly) a few days later.
Unfortunately still ne signs of fixings or instructions.
*      This time the rail had ANOTHER part broken (at the other end of the
rail)!!!
*      They promise to send out replacement bits (quicker than sending it
all back).

My main reason for posting this (apart from sharing my not-too-happy
experience of them) is to see if anyone else has had a problem with the
plastic cover holding the two ends of the moving band together? The band is
under tension (about 2cm movement when untensioned) which is held in place
by a very small and weak bit of plastic - not good engineering :-(

Good news is that the 'Dawn to Dusk' version I ordered (as opposed to more
expensive timer version) does allow discreet open and close commands - so I
can connect it to HomeVision or Comfort.

Paul.
