C Development on Exstreamer

All,

we consider allowing application/interface development within the
device for some "die-hards" on the Exstreamer. This would allow you
to use the serial interface, network interfaces and Exstreamer
functionality for lots of things like implementing xAP, using the
device as an "xAP to IR output" gateway, connecting an LCD to the
serial interface etc etc etc etc.
This is something only for real experts in embedded programming -
limited environment, easy-to-crash the system, lack of documentation,
very early in the process (we never did this before), probably not
enough functions for the beginning and ..
However, I think this could be lots of fun - and we might be willing
to sponsor some interesting projects with free hardware.
In addition, take into account that the "Ethernet-to-Serial"
functionality WITHOUT audio, but with some digital inputs/outputs is
available on a prototype basis, we'll productize this soon and sell
through our partners at a reasonable pricepoint.

Who's interested ? Please contact me.

Johannes
