If I'd know how useful a tivo.bak file was going to be, I might have
been tempted to do one when my little machine was still a virgin.

I suppose I *could* do a complete cleardown of recordings on the Tivo
(I've got a few things waiting to extract), back it up to retain my
current SPs etc, do a complete system reset then take a back up of that
in a virgin state.... hmmmmm, I suppose I could find a 40Gb hard disc
and just put my image on it, do a reset, then backup from that then put
my proper discs back in.... must have a look to see if I have anything
that sort of size going spare.... :)
