Good point, - OK how about, bring old HDD plus new HDD, and the upgrade
service can include the backup stage and the restore stage... - these were
pretty quick operations when I did mine from your image...

I guess the presence of recordings would flummox that quite a bit, so
punters would have to be "encouraged" to delete all recordings in the now
playing list before this process was started....
