Hmmm, replying to myself...
Having found the X10 errata control and cranked it up to full debug
mode
(4),
I have further info.
When I switch on an X10 module from the tk console, MH just spews out
X10
codes
to switch it on again and again indefinately, the logs fill and CPU
usage
rockets...
A reboot fixes it, but that's not much help...
Any ideas?

I'm getting a messages like -
"Data recieved while xmiting data ... recieve and retry"
and
"Bad Checksum im CM11 send : cs1=11 cs2=. Will retry"
On the console logs, the former when I press a button on an X10 remote,
the latter every so often.
The CPU usage also bobs between 30-60% and it's doing 1cycle/sec.
It used to (well two days ago when first installed) display the name of
the
X10
unit as each remote button was pushed, and use 0% while doing
20cyc/sec.
Any ideas?
