I was more thinking of something like www.xboxmediaplayer.com which would
allow you to play video files/dvd's/audio files/cd's and images/slideshow.

XBMP now supports Samba shares, so you can access your divx,mp3,wma,jpg etc
files on any windows share without having streaming software installed. Not
sure if MAC's support samba, but windows and linux are fine.


www.xbox-scene.com for a lot of info/tutorials.
