What power output does the transformer have? My 15"LCD screen TV
and
monitor has a transformer with 4.5A output! The Kenwood is probably a
lot less but it's worth checking. Doesn't Cat5 have a max rating of a
few amps? (I couldn't find the power rating spec on any of my drums).
Paul.

Thats what I'm going to do in the bathroom..
Locate the PSU in node zero, and run the power over cat5 to the
bathroom.
I've run the cables, just need to knock some holes in the wall. :-)
As an aside, before I cut the PSU cord, is there somewhere that sells
Kenwood style power plugs so I can make up some extension cables?
Daniel
