Get an old analogue satellite receiver and connect the DVD player to the VCR
scart.

Use the Sat Receiver as the modulator just as you are with the VCR

Hi all,

I got a new multi-region Sony DAVS550 DVD player yesterday and thought I'll
connect it to the video and then distribute the RF signal round the house.
But guess what? Macro kicked in and all I get is stupid flickering. Now, I
don't want to do any pirating or so - I just want to watch my DVDs. Does
anybody know a solution short of re-wiring to distribute S-Video?

Any help greatly appreciated,
Marc
