I took mine apart too :-)

Looks like the 7 button keypad on the back is connected via an 8 way
ribbon
so it looks like individual switch wires and a common. Nice and easy to
remote :-)

It uses a Sharp 5.6" tft, model number LQ6AN101, trying to find the
pinouts
as I type :)

I need to get rid of a lot of the bulk to fit them in the car :/
