Alan,

I would try downloading the bugbear virus scan/clean utility from
www.sarc.com

One of the big markers for bugbear infection is printers spewing garbage
for
no apparent reason, and I experienced a Panasonic laser which simply
spat
blank pages as you describe.

Never want to yell "virus" without checking, but thats my gut
instinct on
this one.

Sorry I know its OT.

I have a problem with a networked printer at the office.
When two of the PCs are booted up they send an untitled document to any
of
the networked printers, this is loads of blank pages that get sent after
the
machine has been on for a few minutes even to printers not set as
default.
Only the networked printes are affected, local connections are fine.
The problem started after setting up three new machines with Win98,
funny
thing is one of them is OK. Panasonic printer drivers were installed,
these
have now been uninstalled and replaced with Brother ones for a new
printer,
I had hoped that removing the Panasonic ones would cure the problem.
The
Panasonic files were removed with the supplied uninstall utility.

Anyone have any ideas, PLEASE :-(
