Yeah, I enquired about this a week or so ago..

Basically, the UCM does not notify a "start of arming" event, so the only
way to do it is to modify the Comfort response attached to the
away/day/night arm buttons so that it does some additional action which *is*
reported at the UCM...

i.e. currently the "away" response would be:
--> Away button pressed on keypad
---> Action: arm to away mode

you'll need to change it to: (for example)
--> Away button pressed on keypad
---> Action: Turn output 4 ON
---> Action: arm to away mode

The change of output 4 status will be reported at the UCM as soon as it
happens, after which the arm sequence will continue as before, which will
obviously take however many seconds you have it configured for (30 in my
case...)

I don't know if it is then possible to cancel the arm sequence from Homeseer
as a result of whatever pre-arm processing you want to do, but the UCM can
send a keypad keypress back to the panel, so I guess it may be doable. (I
Hope so, cos that's what I want to do...)
