I am not sure how good this is, but I remember seeing OxyClean being used on
a bathroom mirror to prevent misting.

Another one I know works is the RainX glass cleaner (not the external stuff,
although this may work too). Works on my car that's for sure.
I'll need to try it out as I have some in the garage.
