I had thought about removing the screen housing, and mounting the
screen
into a wooden mount, either with a rubber gasket round the edge of the
screen, or dare I mention it silicon.

I am going to make a wooden surrond for the screen, and probably make
the
backbox in wood, - either hinging the front panel or having removable
in
some way.
