OT: DVD Avi to DV Tape

Hi guys,

Sorry for the off topic post but I'm sure some one on here will
have the answer.

I've been doing some dv video work and to make my life easier I took the
steps to move the complete contents of each dv tape on the hard drive. I
could then load them into adobe and do each edit in turn.

Now I want to delete the large unedited dv avi files, but would like to
put them back on to dv tape.

Now adobe allows me to do this, but it wants to spend hours creating
previews, but since I have no edits then I don=92t want to do this.

I was hoping that as the avi is an uncompressed version of the original
tape I could find an app with will let me send the avi back to the dv
machine.

If you have any ideas about this ? or think you can help. Please mail me
off list.

Thanks

Regards,

Paul
