James,
I have DVP-CX850 (200 DVD player, but plays CDs as well).
It's O.K. but doesn't support anything except original disks (no CD-R, no CD-RW)
So, I need to keep originals in player, and use copies in car.
What's the situation with yours?
Does it play from CD-Rs?
Nik

I'm not 100% sure, but I bought the CDP-CX455 400 disc changer back = in the
summer when it was first released, on the basis that it was a newer,=
updated
version of the 450.  I can't remember all the details, but I wa= nted the
newer model as there's apparently lots of little updates that make i= t a
better changer and player.  One big difference - of no use/inte= rest to me
(sacrilege on here tho) - is that the 455 can play MP3's etc off CDs= .

The same principle may be true for the 355 over the 350 though don't= take
my
  guess for it.
