I think the main issue is the mp3 playback =96 however as I remember the Slinke and associated software does not work with the newer models =96 does= n=92t
support the mp3 CD=92s and can=92t control the ordinary CD=92s any more =96= as the
software is not ongoingly being developed if you do envisage using a Slinke=
you may be better staying with the older version. The Slinke maillist could=
probably help more.

I=92m not 100% sure, but I bought the CDP-CX455 400 disc changer back in th= e
summer when it was first released, on the basis that it was a newer, update= d
version of the 450.  I can=92t remember all the details, but I wanted = the
newer model as there=92s apparently lots of little updates that make it a better changer and player.  One big difference - of no use/interest to= me
(sacrilege on here tho) =96 is that the 455 can play MP3=92s etc off CDs.


The same principle may be true for the 355 over the 350 though don=92t take= my
guess for it.

CPC are selling Sony CDP-CX355 300 disc CD players for a =A3209 + VAT, is t= his
a good buy ?

Anyone know the difference between the CDP-CX350 and 355.
