Ive had this issue before.

I found it was where a service had been configured to run with a user
name and password and the user had then change the password. But not
the password on the service. So every time the service runs it lock out
the user as the password is enter wrong 3 times!!

So just look for a service they are running as their user?

Hi,

Anyone any ideas on this one:

One of my users account keeps getting locked out every couple of days.

This can happen whilst he is already logged on, and then he cant
access any resources until I manually unlock the account and he logs
back in. A couple of days later, it will happen again.

There ARE some failed log in attempts in the Event log, but these
originate from his machines IP.

TIA

Stuart
