Not at all. 'Phone Only' sockets totally go against the concept of a
stuctured wiring scheme. All sockets in the house are RJ45 and are
wired directly back to the patch panel so they are free to be used
for any purpose. Phone, Data, Fax, ISDN, KAT5, IR Repeater etc.

The 8 RJ45 sockets are unused sockets on the patch that are all
linked together. A lead from the BT Phoneline plugs into one of the 8
sockets and the other 7 are able to be patched to anywhere in the
house.
