INDEED - very true John - and although I use C-Bus I also still use X10 in
some places for exactly this reason. Whilst I have had problems with X10 re
'dependability' I have spent the time to find out what was causing the
problem and I now have an almost guaranteed X10 system in place, over a
fairly large area. C-Bus is not a simple retrofit solution although the RF
versions will be - at a price ...

Yep - the real shame was that the two way/status issue was not adopted more
pervasively.
