This is a "killer app". I can see a few more TiVo boxes coming
up on eBay
now.

Probably... but then thats more good news for the rest of us :) Imagine
hav=
ing a=20
single Tivo per Channel..<grin>

Personally my (120gig) Tivo records far more than I can actually watch
from=
FreeView,
and the ability to hack it makes it far better (for me) than SKY+. Having
s=
aid that,=20
I'm sure I'll end up with SKY+ one day.. but TiVo will still be my one
true=
love.
=20
SWMBO uses SKY for her live viewing so I've never dared connect the TiVo
to=
it.. can
just imagine how pleased she be if it changed to the Sci-Fi Channel in the
=
middle of=20
some house program :0

What would be ideal (for me) is if someone knew of a hack to allow source
s=
election
based on Time of Day. What I mean is the Tivo would use FreeView 24 hours
a=
day but=20
use the SKY box as a source only between 10pm and 6am and 9am to 5pm (when
=
SWMBO is
fast asleep or at work).

So I suppose that brings us full circle ... with dual recording on SKY+

Personally I can't bear to give Sky any more money. My package used to co=
st
=A312.50 a few years ago. Now it's =A319. 52% increase. Mad.

That seems a lot, we recently dropped sports/movies from the full =A336
pac=
kage and it
went down to =A315.?? and its only gone up to =A319.??
