No, Mudgock don't have a hotel, but you have a wide range of choices in
central glasgow then a 25min train journey to milngavie or car pickup if
someone is going to be near there... or a hotel in Milngavie. Or trying
to convince someone to offer a spare room of course. Mine is already
taken [s/spareroom/space on floor].
My suggestion to anyone needing a hotel would be to stay in Glasgow and
get the train out, much better choice of accomodation.
