RE: IR emitters

Thanks Rob - I've got Comfort as well so I'll take a look. I do want
something pretty small and unobtrusive though - the size of a mini emitter
would be ideal.

Paul.

Comfort (http://www.comfort.org.uk/products/index.html)
make an IRM01
which is designed to work with a range of 12 meters. It connects to a
standard output so I guess would not be particularly Comfort specific.
But then I know nuffin about electronics ;-)
A starting point perhaps?

Subject: [ukha_d] IR emitters

I've just had my Air Con unit installed in my office (great bit of kit -
and most importantly loads of modes, buttons and lights on the
display!!! :-) ). It's got an IR remote so I want to mount an emitter
high up on the opposite wall to be driven from one of HV's expansion
ports' IR drivers. I'm not sure what type of emitter to get (I've got
some mini-emitters left but guess they are short range???).

Any suggestions?

Paul.
